The 2023 Towpath Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K at Canal Basin Park

The Towpath Marathon is happening this Saturday at Canal Basin Park at 7:30 a.m. Participants can choose to run a full marathon, half marathon of 10k.

The race starts on the east bank of The Flats and traverses the Towpath Trail. This is a Boston qualifier certified marathon course.

Participants will see Camp Cleveland, the Towpath Mounds, the downtown skyline and the Cuyahoga River Valley.

Proceeds from this race and other Towpath Trilogy race go to Canalway Partners, which is a non-profit organization. Taking part in the race helps with developing Towpath Trail, Canal Basin Park and many other projects in the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area.
