Paws on the Pavement: Join a 5K Race with your Pet or Borrow a Pup for the Day

Grab your running shoes and favorite furry friend for an amazing day of fitness and fun at the beautiful Bur Oak Pavilion in Elyria! Support the Friendship Animal Protective League when you register for this fun event!

Registration begins Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. on May 10. You can choose your adventure – tackle our scenic 5K course or enjoy a leisurely 1-mile stroll with your four-legged companion.

If you do not have a dog, no problem! Friendship APL will let you borrow a dog for the 1-mile walk. The non-profit organization has one of the largest animal shelters in Lorain County and can provide shelter pups ready to be your racing buddy.

Registration is now open. With the weather warming up, this is a wonderful opportunity for you and your pet to enjoy the outdoors.
