Richard L. Warren, Jr. joined the firm as a senior associate in 2016, bringing with him over 20 years of experience in litigating personal injury claims. Born in Toledo, Ohio, he moved to Cleveland to attend John Carroll University in 1987, and has made Cleveland his home ever since. After earning a BA Degree in Sociology, he earned his legal degree at Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1996, and is also licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio, and U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit.
Rick spent the first three years of his legal career as a defense attorney with a mid-sized insurance defense law firm in downtown Cleveland. However, he realized that his passion was for protecting the rights of injured persons and he moved over to the plaintiff’s side of the law. Since then, Rick has worked hard to fight against insurance companies to obtain justice for individuals, and his experience of working for insurance companies taught him many of the tricks and tactics insurance companies use to try and deny that justice.
In his free time, Rick is an avid gardener and a director of his neighborhood community garden, which focuses on making healthy food options available to everyone. He also enjoys cooking, hiking, biking, and raising chickens in his backyard.
